2017年12月17日， 2017深圳國際馬拉松賽鳴槍起跑，3萬名跑友在深圳市中心正式開跑！最終，來自肯尼亞的選手PETER KIMELI SOME以2小時14分50秒的成績奪得男子組冠軍；女子組方面，來自吉爾吉斯斯坦的選手POLIUDINA以2小時33分25秒的成績奪得女子冠軍；值得關注的是，中國選手狄鋆以2小時22分07秒的成績奪得中國籍男子第一名，再次刷新個人PB。算上這次的深馬，狄鋆已經連續四周四場全馬PB了。此前三場比賽為：11月26日仙居綠道馬拉松，以2小時30分55秒的成績獲得冠軍；12月3日的張家港馬拉松，以2小時24分的成績刷新PB；12月10日廣州馬拉松，以 2小時22分11秒的成績刷新PB；

狄鋆1986年出生于常州，2005年進南京農業大學，主修英文專業，一直讀到研究生畢業。畢業后，到南京市一個地方開發區工作，目前是海外華僑華人招商引資項目的負責人。忙碌的工作和應酬讓他長期不運動，感覺身體乏力，為了改善健康，2015年他決定開始跑步。

和很多專業選手相比，狄鋆每天花在跑步上的時間在1小時至1個半小時，要么一次跑完，要么早上半小時，晚上40分鐘，間歇或者快慢結合，月跑量三百公里，主要訓練地點是小區。在采訪中，狄鋆曾說過：“對我來說，跑步只是生活中的愛好之一，不是一種謀生手段或者獲取名利的方式。如果把它當作一種職業，原來它吸引我的一些地方也許就會不復存在。我覺得還是要平衡好它和生活、工作的關系，才能保持我對這項運動的愛好。”
